Services

Ways to work together

Individual therapy

Adults · 53-minute sessions

A space to understand what has shaped you and to change the patterns that keep you stuck. Individual therapy supports people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-worth, identity, and major life transitions, including life before and after divorce.

  • Build self-trust and a stronger relationship with yourself
  • Regulate rather than react
  • Clarify values and strengthen boundaries
  • Make meaningful decisions with confidence

Couples therapy

Gottman Method · Emotionally Focused Therapy

For couples caught in the same arguments, growing distant, recovering from a rupture, or deciding what comes next. Couples therapy helps you understand the cycle between you, repair connection, and build a relationship that reflects who you both are.

  • Understand and interrupt your conflict cycle
  • Rebuild trust, safety, and emotional connection
  • Communicate needs without escalating

EMDR and ART

Trauma-focused therapy

Some patterns are hard to change through insight alone. EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) work with the emotional and physiological side of difficult experiences, so memories that once felt overwhelming can lose their charge.

  • Preparation and resourcing come first
  • Can be part of weekly therapy or an intensive

Therapy intensives

Focused change, in days instead of months

An intensive gives you several hours of therapy over one to a few days. It suits people who feel stuck, want to move faster, or cannot fit weekly sessions into their lives. Each intensive includes a screening beforehand and a plan for afterward.

For women

Self-trust intensive

For women who second-guess themselves, over-function for others, or are standing at a crossroads. Explore where self-doubt was learned, reconnect with your own knowing, and leave with a clear plan.

For couples

Couples intensive

For couples in crisis, recovering from a rupture, or wanting a deep reset. Includes an assessment before you begin, focused work on your core pattern, and a follow-up session afterward.

For individuals

EMDR intensive

Half-day or full-day EMDR blocks for a specific memory or set of experiences. Begins with screening and preparation, with a plan to return to ongoing care if you have a primary therapist.

How I work

Insight, then integration

My approach is whole-person, trauma-informed, and strength-based. It integrates identity work, attachment, relationships, nervous-system regulation, trauma, core values, and major life transitions.

These methods work with both what you understand in your mind and the emotional, relational, and physical patterns that are harder to change through insight alone.

  • EMDR
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy
  • Gottman Method
  • Somatic approaches
  • Family systems
  • Attachment-informed

Questions

Frequently asked

Still wondering whether therapy or an intensive is right for you? Reach out and ask.

Do I need to know what to say in my first session?

No. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly what your goals are. We begin with where you are, and you are welcome to ask questions or tell me when something is not working for you.

Do you offer online therapy in Utah?

Yes. Telehealth sessions are available to clients who are physically located in Utah at the time of the session. Choose a private space with a reliable internet connection and a device with audio and video.

How much does therapy cost?

With insurance, Tava Health shows your estimated cost before you book. Self-pay individual sessions (53 minutes) are $150 and couples sessions (53 minutes) are $175. Intensives are priced as packages and quoted before you book. Self-pay clients receive a Good Faith Estimate.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. I see clients through Tava Health, which handles billing and insurance. When you add your insurance on Tava, you see an estimate of what you will likely pay per session before you book. Self-pay is also available.

What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process distressing memories so they carry less emotional charge. It begins with preparation and resourcing before any memory processing.

What is a therapy intensive?

An intensive is several hours of focused therapy over one to a few days instead of weekly sessions. It can help people who feel stuck, want to move faster, or cannot attend weekly appointments. Every intensive starts with a screening to make sure it is a good fit.
